Privacy & donor policy

Draft pending legal review. This policy will be finalized before launch.

Last updated [date].

Hope’s Forge respects the privacy of everyone who visits this site, gives to our work or contacts us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • When you give: your name, contact details and gift history, collected through Givebutter, our donation processor.
  • When you use a form on this site: the details you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, organization and message.
  • When you subscribe to updates: your email address.

This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and its fonts and files are served from our own site rather than third-party services. Givebutter’s giving form, where it appears, is provided by Givebutter and governed by its own privacy policy.

How we use it

We use your information to process and receipt your gifts, send the updates you asked for, and respond to your inquiries. Partner inquiries are used only to evaluate and follow up on the request.

We never sell donor information

We never sell, rent or trade donor information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate, such as our donation processor, and only as needed to provide that service, or when required by law.

Payment details

Payment details are handled by Givebutter and are never stored by Hope’s Forge.

Your choices

You can update your information, unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any email, or ask us to delete your information by contacting us at our email address.

Please don’t send case details

Our forms are not a secure channel for reporting crimes or sharing information that identifies victims. If you need help or want to report a tip, contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888, or call 911 in an emergency.
